Two security officers raped in Francistown

Kutlwano police in Francistown are investigating an incident in which two female security officers were raped while on night duty.   Acting Station Commander,Assistant Superintendent Alice Oabile said the two victims were attacked by a group of men while on duty.   “Among the group,two men then raped the two officers. I cannot state the place where the incident occurred to protect the identity of the victims,” she explained.   Oabile highlighted that under normal circumstances,female officers are expected to be accompanied by the male colleagues but the security company experienced challenges on that fateful day.
