STANBIC APPOINTS SEPHUMA AS NEW HEAD OF GLOBAL MARKETS

Stanbic Bank Botswana has announced the appointment of Lebea Sephuma as the new Head of Global Markets effective 1st September 2020. Lebea brings with him great wealth of knowledge and expertise in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), including international experience having spent five (5) years in South Africa and five (5) more years in Swaziland, where he served as Head of Global Markets.  Lebea first joined Stanbic Bank Botswana in 2003 and rose through the ranks to become Head of Trading before his secondment to Standard Bank South Africa.

We are pleased to welcome Lebea back to Stanbic Bank Botswana to lead the Global Markets Division.  Lebea’s role will be focused on developing strategies and leading a team whose responsibility is to support Stanbic Bank’ s Foreign Exchange Customer Requirements, Manage Currency and Interest Rate Risk using complex yet Value Adding Structures.” said Stanbic Bank Botswana’s Head of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Sheperd Aisam.
