Back from the AU Summit, where he was elected to chair the ALMA Boko was back on home soil to feed detractors humble pie. He was right on time to contribute to the discussion of the UDC budget in Parliament where he told Members of Parliament in opposition that come 2029 they will all be his followers, cheering UDC slogans all the way. The next day he was back in his element, honoring those who fought fighting for our land – the Fallen Heroes Commemoration Day, where he laid wreaths in tribute to the courageous men and women who gave their lives for our nation. Their bravery, commitment, and sacrifice will always be remembered in our hearts and history. With deep gratitude and unity, we uphold their legacy, ensuring it continues to inspire generations to come.

Just when a cacophony of voices critical of Boko’s approach were about to reach a crescendo, he silenced them all when he announced that government has identified international consultants to audit the government systems, and processes. Indeed, he promised, the looters will be brought to book and state resources and stolen millions recovered. A full forensic audit of all 33 government ministries and departments, including State owned entities will soon get underway to unravel mismanagement and recklessness that has dwindled public coffers.
