Armed robbers get away with P2,000
· Staff members survive scare, all safe, undergoing psychotherapy support
· Police investigations underway, risk and security measures bolstered
Cresta Marakanelo Limited or “the hotelier” or the “Company” would like to advise its stakeholders that one of its properties Cresta Lodge was stormed by armed robbers who escaped with P2,000.00 (two thousand Pula only) cash on the morning of 1st March 2022 at about 0200hrs. Botswana Police Service investigations are on-going. No one was physically harmed.
The hotelier is working closely with the police in the case whilst providing affected staff members with psychotherapy support. The Company is grateful for all the support it has received from its staff members, the community and officers of the law.
“Our extremely limited cash in premises policy and robust security equipment which helped obtain detailed footage of the offenders and the incident is meant to protect our team members and guests.
