The month of October officially marks the first anniversary for the ruling coalition Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), after emerging victorious in the 2024 general election.
The UDC government has so far attained some successes while still grappling to achieve some of the key targets amidst growing voter frustration.The UDC government first outlined its agenda through the 100 days targets set by President Duma Boko.The 100 days elapsed in February, and a lot of progress had not been achieved at the time of reporting. Addressing the 2025 Pula Global Expo last week in Gaborone, Boko said the first 12 months in office for the UDC government were entirely about learning and unlearning.
