STANBIC BANK EXPRESSION OF INTEREST EOI/PROC/001/2026 – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) – RENEWABLE ENERGY ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT & CONSTRUCTION (EPC) PARTNERS

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to identify and pre qualify EPC partners who can support the Bank’s renewable energy financing proposition by ensuring: y High quality design, procurement and implementation of renewable energy systems. y Reduced project and technical risk through a structured EPC onboarding framework. y Improved customer experience through a one stop shop project + financing solution.

2. Background

Renewable energy installations, particularly solar PV systems, are technically intricate and require specialised engineering expertise. To ensure projects financed by the Bank perform as expected, comply with regulatory standards, and minimise operational risks, only EPCs who have undergone rigorous assessment will be considered for panel admission.

3. Scope Stanbic Bank Botswana invites registered and experienced suppliers, to submit detailed pre-qualification proposals for Renewable Energy Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Partners. This supports the Bank’s solar financing strategy by de-risking projects, streamlining processes, and ensuring quality implementation.

4. Pre-Qualification Requirements

Interested service providers must submit the following mandatory documents: y Company profile (overview, history, successful installations, years of operation, client portfolio) y Certificate of incorporation y CIPA Extract y Valid tax clearance certificate y VAT registration confirmation y Shareholders/Directors Proof of Identity y Bank Confirmation letter y Latest financial statements (≤ 6 months old) y Demonstration of technical capabilities (entity & key personnel) and similar past projects y Minimum two (2) traceable references

5. Submission

Interested Suppliers can submit a detailed proposal via the below

6. By responding to this advertisement, the service provider grants Stanbic Bank Botswana and Standard Bank Group permission to conduct necessary credit and background checks on all shareholders and related entities.

7. Closing date and time: Friday 3rd April 2026, at 1200hrs. Any submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

8. Important Notice This is not an invitation to tender. A full tendering process will be followed to invite potential service providers post prequalification. Only successful applicants will be contacted for the tendering process. Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of Stanbic Bank Botswana.
