 Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) is a statutory body established as a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) to promote safe, regular, secure and efficient use and development of Civil Aviation in Botswana; To regulate and develop air transport, by providing air navigation services, managing airports and advising the Botswana Government on all aspects of civil aviation.

  • Tender Title: PROCUREMENT OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS SERVICES FOR THE PROPOSED HEAD OFFICE BUILDING AT SIR SERETSE KHAMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
  • Sealed Tender offers are invited for the provision of PROCUREMENT OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS SERVICES FOR  THE  PROPOSED  HEAD  OFFICE BUILDING AT SIR SERETSE KHAMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
  • The Procuring Entity is Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB).
  • The Procurement Method is: Open Domestic Bidding.
  • To be considered for  the  award  of  the  contract,  the Contractor must be registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority in the following categories:

 

Code: Code 303 (Civil Engineering Services) Subcodes: Sub Code 04: Civil/ Structural Engineering

  • The tender is reserved for 100% citizen owned Companies as stated under Section 76 (1) & (2) of the Public Procurement Act,
  • Preference Margins will be applied to qualifying bidders in line with the following scheme: ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION DRIVE (EDD) will be applied in this tender, and tenderers shall provide valid EDD certificate to
  • The physical address for collection of tender documents is: Chief Procurement Officer, Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, Terminal Building, Plot No.17401, Office number 1001, First Floor, Private Bag SK9, Gaborone, Tel: 3688200, e-mail: tenders@caab.co.bw
  • Documents may be collected during working hours between 0900hrs and
  • A non-refundable deposit of P150.00 or P75.00 for youth registered companies upon production of identity cards and company documents of Shareholders, the fee is payable in cash or bank guaranteed cheque or EFT made out in favor of the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana and is required on collection of the tender

  • A Compulsory site visit and pretender meeting with representatives of the Procuring Entity will take place at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport on the 06thof November 2025 starting at
  • All bidders are requested to bring their Identity documents (Omang/Passport-noncitizens) and their Personal Protective Clothing being: hard hat/safety helmet, safety boots and reflective
  • The closing date and time for receipt of sealed tender offers is 28th of November 2025 at 1000
  • Late tender offers will not be
  • The Bid Submission Method is: One (1) Envelope Submission Method in which a tenderer’s financial and technical offers are submitted together in one sealed
  • Submit one (1) original tender document marked “ORIGINAL” and 2 duplicate copies of the original document marked “COPY” in one sealed envelope clearly marked:

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, shall be delivered to Procurement Office, Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, Plot No.17401, 1st Floor, Office 1001, Gaborone, Botswana.

The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Standardised Conditions of Tender for Works shall apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the tender documents.

 

Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
