VACANCY-GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Choppies Distribution Centre is seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide financial leadership and oversee the Group’s financial operations, governance, planning, reporting, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Group Finance function.
* Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
* Oversee treasury, cash-flow, working capital, taxation, and financial controls.
* Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
* Provide strategic financial and commercial advice to executive management.
* Evaluate capital expenditure, investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
* Monitor business performance and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
* Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and controls.
* Lead, develop, and strengthen the Group Finance team.
* Support the effective utilization and improvement of ERP and financial management systems.

Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
* Professional accounting qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
* BICA accredited/member or eligible for membership.
* Minimum of 10 years’ senior-level finance experience, preferably within a Group or multi-entity environment.
* Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, and working capital management.
* Proven knowledge of financial governance, internal controls, risk management, and statutory compliance.
* Proven experience in leading and developing finance teams.
* Strong commercial, strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
* Practical experience with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) will be an added advantage.
