In a historic milestone for Botswana’s mining industry, former Tati Nickel Mine in Matsiloje village was officially re-opened this week by President Duma Boko after an eight-year halt.

It isnow trading as Tataki Mining which is part of Global Critical Resources Corporation (GCR). Officiating at the launch in Matsiloje, President Boko confirmed that the poly-metallic mine’s executive management had happily accepted a P4000 minimum wage request for employees.
