JOB VACANCY- FARM WORKERS

BROOKSIDE FARM (PTY) LTD IS LOOKING FOR FARM WORKERS

Brookside Farm (Pty) Ltd pride itself on three segments of the agriculture business being fruits, crops and vegetables and animal husbandry.

Duties may include;
* Plant, inspect, and harvest crops
* Irrigate farm soil and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps
* Operate and service farm machinery and tools
* Apply fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungi, and weeds
* Move plants, shrubs, and trees with wheelbarrows or tractors
* Willing to stay in a farm full time.
* Feed livestock and clean and disinfect their cages, pens, and yards
* Examine animals to detect symptoms of illnesses or injuries and administer vaccines to protect animals from diseases

Qualifications and Experience
•JC or its equivalent.
* Must have practical knowledge in horticulture and livestock farming.
* Being able to work long hours and during weekends and holidays if need arise.
