Botswana is currently facing a shortage of grains particularly sorghum, the Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB) confirmed on Friday
BAMB Acting Chief Executive Officer Lameck Nthekela told a press conference that sorghum shortage has led to a jump in its prizes in local supermarkets.
However, Nthekela is hopeful that the situation will be normalised after the next four months of crop harvesting season.
