Montle Phuthego has had a fulfilling public service career spanning over 40 years – just as she had intended. Thereafter she rolled up her sleeves for the private sector and currently serves as Country Manager of Techno Serve, an international organisation that focuses on job creation, youth unemployment, food systems and regenerative businesses.

With a Masters in Economics from the University of Warwick, Phuthego’s career spanned from a Research Manager to the regional Representative in the United Kingdom for Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA), to General Manager Business Development at Botswana Development Corporation, partly acting as Managing Director and becoming Caretaker Chief Executive Officer for SPEDU and later being the Managing Director of Econo Markets Consultancy (Pty) Ltd.
