This morning (12.09.25), the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) hosted the Hemp Innovations Europe (HIE) AB Memorandum of Understanding Handshake Ceremony. The MOU signing is in partnership with The Office of the President, Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (BUAN) and the National Agricultural Research and Development Institute (NARDI).

The MOU aims to promote collaboration between HIE, BUAN, NARDI and the Office of the President in the areas of education, research, value chains development, policy advocacy and innovation related to industrial hemp, sustainable agriculture and bio-based value chains development in Botswana.
