BCP ON LEPOKOLE-BOROTSI BY-ELECTION VICTORY The BCP is heartened by Saturday 9th December 2023 results where it won the Borotsi - Lepokole ward in Bobirwa constituency with huge margins. The emphatic win was announced by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) on the 9th December 2023 following a poll on the same day. The Final Results show the BCP leading comfortably with 860 against 𝐁𝐃𝐏'𝐬 𝟑𝟓𝟒 and 𝐔𝐃𝐂'𝐒 𝟏𝟐𝟔. A total of 18 ballots were spoiled.Congratulations to Hon. Moalosi Afa. We wish him well in his new tour of duty. We also congratulate our Vice President and MP for Bobirwa Hon. Taolo Lucas, the campaigns manager, Hon. Councillor Koketso Moja and all the BCP cadres in the Bobirwa Constituency for leading the way. We congratulate other activists of the BCP from beyond the ward and constituency for their hard work and for this resounding victory for the 𝐁𝐂𝐏, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲.The results also mark a turning point in the history of our country as they 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐂𝐏'𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐚𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮r 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. No amount of cheating or corrupt practices by the monied who think our people are purchasable should stop the winds of change that are blowing in our country. To those who want to exploit our people by giving them money to influence them to decide against a prosperous future for their children, we assure them that their approach will end in tears. Of course, our people need food parcels and money that our opponents offer them. Our message is; 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐬; 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐂𝐏 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒. To all patriotic citizens, we need your votes in large numbers to form a new government for a new and better Botswana in 2024.As the BCP marches on we will, in the next 6 days (starting on Tuesday the 12th of December 2023) roll out a series of offerings and activities that will leave no one in doubt that 𝐁𝐂𝐏 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐚.We will announce our candidates who just emerged victorious in party primaries and also launch a summary of our signature manifesto promises. These activities and offerings are a befitting celebration of the Borotsi - Lepokole victory. We are humbled by this victory which has invigorated our people to work even harder to save our country from the 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 and to save our country from the debilitating corruption, poor governance and those intent on selling our country to the highest bidder. We urge our people to continue to work hard and leave nothing to chance. Please talk to your families, friends and relatives this festive season. We need to build an unbreakable covenant as already shown by the people at Borotsi - Lepokole. Through this victory we hope Batswana will be disabused, once and for all of the false narrative being peddled by doomsayers and apologists of the moribund and corrupt BDP regime that “there is still no alternative”. Of course there is an alternative; and 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐂𝐏. We say to our people you are your own liberators and through you we will achieve Freedom in our lifetime! KGOLOLO YA SECHABA!Yours Comradely,𝐂𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐩𝐡𝐨 𝐌. 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐁𝐂𝐏 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 ... See MoreSee Less
