Botswana Life CEO, Ronald Samuels, has also been given a Leadership Excellence Award, in recognition of his Excellence in Business Development. The three accolades were awarded by Global Brands Magazine (GBM) in its 11th edition of the annual brand awards. Adding to this, Botswana Life has also received an award under Global Banking & Finance Review’s The Next 100 Global Awards 2023, under the category of Insurance. The Next 100 Global Companies highlights some of the most exciting, innovative, and promising businesses from around the world and recognises those at the forefront whose strategy, achievements, dedication, and leadership of those who demonstrate outstanding achievement and are committed to delivering the products clients need and the results clients want, acting as a catalyst for the industry.

“This is an immense privilege and honour. We thank Global Brands Magazine and Global Banking & Finance respectively for recognising us and our efforts. Above all, however, we thank the very people who make us the business we are: our staff who work so hard to deliver exceptional client experiences, and clients who trust us with their business and their peace of mind. They inspire us every day to do more and to do better. We must also recognise that it is the strong regulatory environment we have in Botswana that gives us permission to operate and to operate in the way that we do. It is a complex and competitive environment, but one that is stable, well governed and encouraging of growth and progress. It is to all these valued stakeholders we are privileged to work with and for that we share this incredible honour,” said Botswana Life CEO Ronald Samuels.

Botswana Life has received a number of accolades in recent years, including but not limited to: the Most Admired Insurance Brand Award (Brand Africa, 2020); the Best Insurer (Brand Africa, 2020); Botswana’s Life Insurance Brand of the Year (Global Banking & Finance, 2022); and Life Insurance CEO of the Year, Botswana, for Ronald Samuels (Global Banking & Finance, 2022). These serve as veritable reinforcements of Botswana Life’s unwavering desire to improve livelihoods for colleagues, clients and communities as delivering meaningful impact.  Botswana Life strives to provide peace of mind today, for tomorrow, through life insurance and advisory services that are best in market, purpose-driven, and engineered to create shared value.
