“BU’s multi-faceted campaign should further assist the University to build a strong brand which is already gaining recognition in Nigeria, as well as increasing enrollment figures from a wide target audience in the country,” pointed out Golekanye Setume, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor- Communications.

The campaign consists of a number of components, namely, Social Media and Blog Exposure, PR, Print Advertising, and Radio Commercials and Outdoor Advertising, as well as a Press Conference to be held at a scheduled date in Nigeria.

The first PR generation and Print Advertising placement began in April, 2019 and these strategies resulted in a cross sectional growth of the target market. Airing of Radio Commercials began the first week of July 2019, run by selected stations in cities like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Enugu, where the human traffic is very high.
