Chose Modise

Stanbic Bank Botswana has announced the appointment Chose Modise as Chief Executive of the Bank, effective 01 January 2022. All regulatory approvals have been obtained for this appointment. Modise will succeed Samuel Minta, whose tenure ends in December 2021.

“We thank Sam for his exceptional leadership as Chief Executive since January 2018. Sam led the transformation of the business with many novel and innovative initiatives, deepened the diversification of revenue streams, embedded unrelenting focus on client, employee, and community experience. We are grateful for his courage, passion and visionary leadership, and wish him the very best in his next endeavour. With this goodbye also comes great news as Chose prepares to take the reigns as Chief Executive. Chose has been an integral part of the strategic growth of the business in the last three years since he joined Stanbic Bank. This is a phenomenal milestone not only as the leadership role of the business is localised once more, but because in Chose we have a leader of great expertise, passion, courage of conviction and dedication,” said Stanbic Bank Botswana Board Chairman, Craig Granville.
