… Not my brother
There are social media stories going round to claim that Judge Kebonang was seen at Kgosi’s house on Sunday to offer sympathy to Kgosi following his arrest. The same stories go to say Judge Kebonang went to Tafila’s office on Monday the 25th October 2021 to offer assistance to Tafila Attorneys.
Ordinarily, these allegations would be dismissed with the contempt they deserve had it not been for the fact that, these could only have been brought by faceless people with a malicious agenda.
For starters, Judge Kebonang left on Saturday for London. He remains in London.
On Sunday I visited Kgosi’s house to offer my sympathy to Kgosi’s wife. I met two DIS officials. On Monday, i went for a different appointment at Tafila’s office. I stayed less than 2 minutes as I found him busy. I found at the offices DIS officials whom i greeted. I am a practising advocate in Botswana and if i had been asked to represent Kgosi, i would have. Let us not sacrifice the truth for expedience. It is clear that the write-up is malicious and intended to achieve a particular narrative.
Advocate Sadique Kebonang
