The ambitions target, has been disclosed by its founder and current General Manager, Brian Ketshabile. “I envision Braintec being recognized as the leading and most trusted hygiene supplies and cleaning services provider who consistently caters for customers’ personalized needs. Our continued professional and quality service provision will guarantee client satisfaction, therefore leading us to our vision within the set 5 years,” explained Ketshabile, who formed the business from his personal savings way back in 2011.

He told this publication this week that, they have already started building brand awareness, efficiency, increase client satisfaction, employee growth and community engagement to fulfil this target objective. “Having seen the swift expansion of our business in the past few years, there is absolutely no reason to doubt the possibility of our goal becoming true,” he disclosed confidently.

Among the services that they offer include hospitality and healthcare laundry, landscaping, residential and office cleaning, cleaning of upholstery, car valet, as well as installation of chemical management equipment for efficient use of chemicals. The company also engages in the business of manufacturing economical cleaning products, as well as distributing premium cleaning chemicals which range from kitchen, laundry, housekeeping and personal hygiene.

In the past ten years that the company has been in existence, they have managed to make a name for themselves despite challenges associated with start-ups. A confident Ketshabile, was not shy to tell this publication that, their leading clients are in the healthcare industry, where they provide laundry services and products as well as landscaping services. The second biggest sector that have captured is education and commercial markets.

“We provide institutional contract cleaning and waste management services to these clients. Keeping clean never goes out of fashion. People need cleaning services and products every day, at home, at the office, at healthcare facilities. It makes life easier and increases productivity. Being able to bring a positive impact in the lives of people at the same time generating a good fortune developed into a dream that the team and I wanted to chase forever,” he said.

Braintec has grown in leaps and bounds. However, it has not been all rosy. During the early years of the business, it was hard for the company to get business. “We would only get one or two jobs in a space of two or three months. It really was not easy but in order to survive, we played aggressively in the market. We worked on building our brand, gaining recognition, and striving for customer satisfaction. This kind of hard work and persistence is what helped us overcome this challenge,” he said nostalgically.

In addition, the company has not sat on its laurels as the world moves fast into the fourth industrial revolution which mostly centers around digitalization. The company has moved swiftly and now has a fully functional website, accounts on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. These platforms allow existing and prospective customers to interact with the company wherever they are.

Botswana which is emerging from a hard hitting COVID 19 is experiencing a worrying surge on unemployed citizens. Braintec, new as it is, has managed to create 78 jobs and counting.
