SOLACE PTY LTD T/A STAR POULTRY FARM is seeking an Experienced Poultry Farm Manager to lead our growing operation.

Type: Full-time | On-site

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on leader with 10+ years’ experience in commercial poultry management to oversee all farm operations and drive business growth. You will be responsible for both the welfare of Chickens and the business operations.

Key Responsibilities – Business Leadership

1. Farm Operations: Oversee broiler/layer production, feeding, health, biosecurity, vaccinations and mortality control
2. Business Leadership: Budgeting, costing, feed conversion, profit & loss management, and hitting production targets
3. Team Management: Recruit, train and lead farm workers. Rosters, discipline, and performance
4. Sales & Marketing: Liaise with clients; manage supply to retailers, schools, and direct customers. Ensure consistent sales
5. Compliance: Maintain health, safety, and record-keeping standards. Manage vaccinations and vet visits
6. Growth: Identify opportunities to scale production and reduce costs

Requirements

– Minimum 10 years’ experience managing a commercial poultry farm 100,000+ birds preferred

– Proven business leadership, well versed with SAP Business 1 application and financial management skills

– Diploma/Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field. Advantage

– Strong knowledge of broiler and layer management, feed programs, and disease control

– Experience with budgeting, stock control, and reporting

– Must be resident in and willing to work weekends/public holidays

– Valid driver’s license will be an advantage.
