Leveraging our extensive experience across multiple markets and strategic partnerships, we continue to deliver tailor-made solutions that truly meet the needs of the markets we serve.

Both customers and non-customers can walk into any of our 19 branches and Sales and Service Centres and instantly send money to their loved ones, friends, or settle bills.

A key highlight is the service is not just limited to traditional bank accounts but introduces the ability to send to several other partners worldwide which include directly into mobile money wallets such as Orange Money, MPESA, MTN, Airtel, bCash, EcoCash, TIGO, WeChat, etc. plus direct cash pick-up at various financial institutions and partners worldwide, including directly into China issued UnionPay cards.

Beyond this, Access Bank Botswana Account holders can also send and receive funds directly into their accounts from 10 Access Bank subsidiary countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, DRC, Rwanda, Kenya, Zambia, South Africa, Cameroon, Guinea, and Sierra Leone – all at no cost. Non-Access Bank Botswana customers are also able to benefit from the service. They can receive cash pick-ups from Access Bank subsidiaries at any of our eight branches, or they can enjoy the flexibility of receiving funds on a prepaid card (in USD or BWP) at our 11 Sales and Service Centres.

AccessAfrica is a first in Botswana and this innovation will be rolled out across the Bank’s other channels, utilising our extensive network of over 800 Access Closa agents and our cutting-edge digital banking platform, SaruMoney. With SaruMoney, customers can already pay bills, buy airtime, and send money to any local bank account or Orange Money wallet. Customers can even send Fast Cash money vouchers redeemable at any of our 58 Access Bank ATMs or through our vast network of Access Closa Agents countrywide.

AccessAfrica truly represents our commitment to our customers and provides them with more options to send money in convenient and efficient ways.

With AccessAfrica, the world is next door as the Bank looks forward to revolutionising cross-border remittances.
