The i-Connect Event is purposed towards providing both the public and private sectors with insights and futuristic IT solutions to assist them in overcoming their unique challenges. The presentations shared at the event will be centered around the theme of ‘Discovering & Adopting Disruptive Digital Solutions’, a topic which will help industry players better comprehend both the functionality and advantages presented by digital processes, be acclimated to the most advanced features of software applications as well as understand the role of digital developments.

Throughout the discussion, there were specific sessions for various presentations on topics of interest such as Big Data, robotics, artificial intelligence, the role of strategy in digitisation just to name a few, all of which touched on how to leverage each technology to the fullest to drive innovation and optimise processes.

Stanbic Bank Botswana, Head of Transformation, Keamogetse Mpudi said, “The aim of this panel discussion is to offer unique perspectives with regards to modernising technological capabilities industry-wide, understand the potential of available digital resources, use said resources to achieve industry goals as well as share insights on how to increase and capitalise on profitability and innovation. We continue to bring solutions that are technologically advanced and accessible such as Unayo – a digital and transformative platform that puts the power in the hands of our customers.”

Keamogetse was the ideal candidate for a panel of such a high caliber due to her expertise in the field of Computer Information Systems, System Analysis and Design as well as in Business Administration –  qualifications she obtained from Colorado State University. She has also completed a Management Development Program (MDP) with Stellenbosch University. Additionally, she is responsible for driving the bank’s transformation to a future-ready enterprise with Data Monetization, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics as the core enablers for the transformation into a truly digital business.

“The i-Connect Event panel discussion brought a plethora of benefits, some of which will include providing much needed expertise, IT solutions, as well as offering the public and private sector insights with the resolve to help them overcome their unique challenges. This will also be a great opportunity for the sector to exchange knowledge on how to drive innovation and transformation, which we can leverage to grow Botswana’s economy,” concluded Innolead Consulting Chief Executive, Mr. Oabona Kgengwenyane.

Innolead Consulting will host I-Connect annually to leverage on shared insights and solutions and bringing industries together with an aim to creating a healthy digital economy for Botswana and the Region.
