‘Money Life’ Season 5!

Botswana Life Insurance Limited (Botswana Life) has announced the commencement of the much-anticipated Season 5 of their beloved financial literacy show, Money Life with Botswana Life (Money Life). Beginning on

Tuesday, 27th July 2021, Money Life’s latest season will air its regular Tuesday slot at 13h30 on RB2. Season 5 is set to focus on dealing with the everyday money issues that majority of Batswana face, with a desire to provide guidance for real issues faced by real people. Over, the target audience scope will expand to factor not only renumerated or entrepreneurial individuals but ensure to field the youth through various educational institutions in the country.

Renowned financial expert, Lorato Akpata, will return to host the show, having truly engaged listeners in the last season and with great request for more. Lorato will be joined by various Botswana Life subject experts and external guests to debate the key topics chosen in a manner that truly brings money matters to life for a more financially healthy nation. Season 5 is set to truly make its mark!

Said Botswana Life Public Relations, Communications and Marketing Manager, Mr. Gabriel Tlagae, “We are honoured by the reception Money Life has received in its previous seasons and the feedback we receive. This is what drives us to continue bringing the show back. As Botswana Life, we aim to assist Batswana to build a legacy through wealth creation and attaining long-term financial security. Furthermore, the ever rising need for self-introspection paired with our financial advisory skill set as a business has showcased a mammoth gap between the relationship most Batswana have with money and that needed tending to for an envisioned financial and risk included nation. Money Life has thus far proven to be a fun, engaging and meaningful way to achieve this goal, discussing real money matters in a way that people often do not do. This show is not only a collaboration between Botswana Life and various financial experts, but also with the very listeners who tune in week after week.

We need more conversations on financial issues if we are to empower ourselves to grow financially, and to enhance financial wellbeing especially in these tough economic times. Every episode has been designed to address the current financial climate and how we can come together as individuals, families and communities to drive socio-economic prosperity.”

Furthermore, there are exciting add-ons for season 5 aim at starting the financial and risk inclusion conversation with up and comers through various education institutions in the country and some of Botswana Life’s salient offerings. This season promises to have a few more exciting elements to it, courtesy of Akpata’s financial prowess and Botswana Life’s commitment to financial literacy engagement. Regular listeners are encouraged to tune in each week, with the opportunity to learn, engage and grow.

“Batswana should get ready for an exciting season ahead. There is so much more to unpack in the field of personal and business finance. Every Motswana should have a stake in the socio-economic growth of our Nation, and we cannot wait to continue on this journey with them. This season has a few surprises in store too,” Akpata said.
