Seven year old reigning Royal International Miss Botswana Queen, Katlego Mpudi is without doubt poised for greater success in her modelling career as her future shines brightly.

The Thamaga born young queen will in July 2022 flies to Florida, United States of America (USA) to represent Botswana at the global finals of Miss Royal International.

In an interview, Duduetsang Mpudi (Katlego’s mother) said they are amazed by her daughter’s commitment, dedication, passion and most importantly the discipline she possesses.

She indicated that Katlego started her modelling at a tender age and she is now on top of her game. “We are proud that we have been able to give her the support in advancing her dreams. I enrolled her for professional training at Glory Modelling Academy in Maun where she gets trained by the Director of the academy Rose Elias every Saturday. The professional coaching has made her to grow well,” said Duduetsang.

Due to her understanding and passion for modeling, Katlego has been accorded an opportunity by her director to train other young children who are enrolling hence in future she will own her academy.

Duduetsang revealed that when she reaches 10 years old, the Glory Modelling Academy will open up an academy for her so that she continues doing something that she does with a lot of passion. “We are going to support her as family until she gets to the level that she aspires to reach in terms of growing her brand. She likes to keep updated with trends in pageantry and she is also following Miss Botswana Queen Palesa a lot and she gets so much inspired,” she said.
