Young passionate ballerina going to represent Botswana on a large scale — Cassidy Naicker — who is approaching her craft with a certain dominance that can be associated with veterans.  She started learning the art of ballerina at the age of 3, and from then she began unveiling her prospects in modeling & acting, simultaneously materializing great dancing skills. At age 6, her parents decided to enrol her in violin & drama class. There she developed certain skills, writing being one of the main abilities that she unlocked. Cassidy has been winning several awards in poetry and speech writing, filling the pages with her zeal. Her biggest achievements are; Gold medal win at ‘Rising to Fame’, also performing at the annual biggest Art festival in South Africa, the National Arts Festival(NAF).

At 7 years she decided to leap back to her first gift; which is dancing, and she singled out “ballet”, cementing her smile into people’s hearts. Cassidy has found a place to impose her strength in acting, performing & owning several stages. The highlight of her career so far is starring in a school play as Ginger in the Littlest Mermaid, her exuberance gave the PLAY a spark it needed.

Cassidy Naicker auditioned at the International Arts Talent showcase in Johannesburg and was selected by the Judge panel to go represent South Africa at New York city, USA (the IMTA convention; a platform that paved the way for a large number of Hollywood royalties).

As ambitious as she is, Cassidy has high hopes for her future. Her biggest dream is to join the New York School of Art in order to receive international exposure. “My dream is to eventually attend the New York school of Arts, as this will allow me to be marketable at an international level and have a competitive edge back home in both South Africa and Botswana .”- Cassidy Naicker
