Judgement set for 19th Dec 2023 Attorneys representing The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) made their presentation this morning before the Court of Appeal against a previous Court decision given by Justice Gaolapelwe Ketlogetswe which ordered the IEC to allow the UDC to observe and monitor voter registration.State attorneys representing the IEC expressed their concerns over the Court decision insisting that there is no right that is found under the common law of the electoral act which clearly states there should be electoral observants during voter registration.
