Miss Eco Botswana 2025: Edith Segokgo’s Journey Towards Environmental Advocacy

SoDeep Experience

The COVID-19 virus has affected every Industry across the Country. Admittedly, the Music and Creative Industry is amongst those hard hit. Concerts have been cancelled, Record sales gone down, Live Events/shows and other events cancelled. It’s clear that everyone in the Music and Creative Industry has been negatively affected. The entire Music and Creative Industry activities has had to come to an abrupt halt. This has left everyone struggling to adapt to these unexpected changes. Musicians and Artists rely heavily on touring and live performances. Such is their main source of income. It is also worth noting and pointing out that the industry relies heavily on freelance workforce.  COVID-19 Pandemic has proven to be the most devastating challenge that the Music and Creative Industry has faced. We hope throughout this Pandemic our Artists will receive all the support all of the General public is receiving. I implore the Public and my fellow Artists to please take heed of all the Government’s appeals to protect us from the Covid-19 Virus.  When the Virus has gone we will come out stronger and continue to give you our best and entertain you all.    Ke a Leboga.    Otsile Ophana Ramorwa Chairman Botswana Musicians Union Interim Committee
