Everyone is complaining about corruption in public office, yet corruption is the order of the day in our personal lives. Corruption is our mode of doing business. The only difference is that those in public office are often arrested. But the rest of us go scot-free! We are free thieves. If God was to send His Police officers, and divine intelligence of angels that excel in strength and keep an accurate record of our dealings, we will all be arrested! Starting with students, herd boys, maids, street vendors, businessman there is so much deception, crime, and corruption! And the moment they become a minister they will not change, they will simply still big things. We are not complaining because we understand right from wrong, but because we are not benefitting. When my cousin who works at a hardware, wants to sell me cement through backdoor, I accept it! But if you hear that the minister gave a tender to his friend through back door you make a lot of noise about it! If my relative who works in a public office gives me favours to get the service, I am happy about it. But when I read in the newspaper that the minister who gave a tender to his friends, I make a lot of noise about it! And even campaign about it!
There is only one standard in the entire universe that can make a man trustworthy and upright. IT IS THE HOLY LAW OF GOD IN THE HEART OF A CONVERTED MAN NOT A CHURCH GOER; BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY CHURCH GOERS THAT ARE THIEVES ALSO! SOME EVEN STILL OFFERINGS IN THE CHURCH.
If they do not fear God they cannot fear the state. If they don’t subscribe to the higher law they cannot fear the law of the state. If they are not be shaken by the coming judgement in the supreme court where God sits as the sovereign of justice, they will not be intimidated by the judgement of the high court.
