Former Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) president, Advocate Sidney Pilane could soon be re-united with the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) and becoming the latest Specially Elected Member of Parliament ( SEMP), replacing Dr Unity Dow.
Information gathered by The Patriot on Sunday is that before the end of the year Advocate Pilane could resurface in active politics as SEMP, appointed by President Mokgweetsi Masisi. According to impeccable sources, Dr Dow will resign from her SEMP seat and exit the political scene before the end of 2021, thus leaving room for a replacement.
