UDC, China’s CPC align

A high-level delegation from the People’s Republic of China landed in Botswana last Wednesday for a marathon engagement with ruling Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) strategy team, local think tanks and policy experts, academia and the media.

Top of the agenda was discussions around recommendations of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee who recently completed the formulation of their 15th Five –Year Plan and its relationship with Botswana’s National Development Plan 12, which Parliament recently adopted.
