- Botswana partners with global investors to revive Morupule A & B, expand renewables

Botswana Government has signed a lodestar energy partnership with a consortium of international investors in a step aimed at transforming the country’s electricity sector and achieving long-term energy independence.
Through the Ministry of Minerals and Energy, led by Bogolo Kenewendo, Botswana entered into a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Thirty-Five Global Links (TFGL), Mercuria Asia Holdings, Ulsan Holding Anonim Sirketi, and Innovation Global Industries (IGI).
