A senior lecturer at the University of Botswana (UB) has attributed President Mokgweetsi Masisi and former President Ian Khama leaks directed towards each other as nothing but self-centred gimmicks meant to harness political sympathy.
According to Dr. Peter Sebina, a senior lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Studies also former Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Humanities, the leaks made by officialdom are used for purposes of either settling scores or in instances like the Masisi-Khama one when there is a comparison between the two politicians.
