We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize end-to-end
operations across our milling and agri-sales business. This is a senior leadership role ensuring
that the business operates efficiently, safely, and profitably while delivering excellent service to
customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide strategic and operational leadership across milling and agri-sales operations.
· Oversee production planning, capacity management, and cost control to maximize
efficiency and maintenance of the mill
· Lead supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory management activities.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and health & safety
standards.
· Manage, develop, and motivate operational teams, building a strong performance and
safety culture
· Manage capital projects, maintenance programmes, and operational investment planning
SKILLS, QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
· BSc Degree in Animal Science or related field.
· Over 10 years progressive work experience in operations and management.
· Proven senior operations leadership experience, ideally within milling or agri-inputs.
· Strong analytical skills and handson experience with maintenance planning.
· Proven track record of costsavings and productionefficiency improvements.
· Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, margins, and operational costs
· Demonstrated ability to lead multi-site or complex operations
· Valid driver’s licence
