Former Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) President, Biggie Butale’s lawyers have ordered the party to reinstate him to his position instead of lifting his suspension on a condition that he returns as an ordinary member.
The Patriot on Sunday has established that the BPF Disciplinary Committee has resolved to lift Butale’s suspension reinstating him back but barring him from resuming the party presidency. Butale was suspended last year in September following allegations of sexual misconduct. He protested the decision by Disciplinary Committee which was then ratified by the National Executive Committee (NEC) for him to be reinstated as ordinary member.
