An expert in matters of the heart and the bedroom, admired and loved by many for his vocal standing and educational sex conversations, the good doctor Thusang Gure last week engaged Mrs. Botswana contestants in an eye-opening session under the theme “The Woman You are”.  Cognizant and adhering to the COVID-19 protocols the celebrity medical doctor in his generosity sponsored the session through his medical clinic MedExo, which marked the first footprint of his partnership with beauty pageantry brand.

There is no one description to define a woman and as the famous Irish writer and Playwright Oscar Wilde holds, ‘’to define is to limit’’. These words closely resonate with the essence of being a woman and the session allowed the brand that is Dr Gure to experience first had interaction with Mrs. Botswana contestants. ‘The Woman You Are’ saw Gure share expert insight with the ladies about the physiological make of a woman. He further explained how this trickles into their relationships as wives.  Infamous for addressing ‘taboo topics that have evidently been a burning issue in relationships, the brief but fruitful session was a success with a full package which sought to unpack on the role of estrogen, intimacy in its different facets and the 3 wells of woman.

The Dr Gure brand is all about nation building; from an individual, to the family then the nation at large. This can be demonstrated by his development of products such as the Naletsana 330ml Kiddies water and Letlapa Fragrance. Moreover, amongst other things Gure values inclusivity, growth and building at the core of everything. Mrs. Botswana specializes in family management and recreation. The pageantry is running on its fifth season this year and was initiated with the main objective stemming from the need to do away with the norm that married women cannot participate in beauty contests.

Mrs. Botswana takes applications from married women the ages of 18 to 45 and this year received 33 applications wherein 30 met the selection criteria. Following a series of categories and elimination stages, the number has since been trimmed to 12 finalists who will battle it out for the crown this July. The Mrs Botswana and Dr Gure brand partnership is definitely within the mark. As his famous saying goes ‘Re Tiisa Malwapa, Re Aga Sechaba.’

Ambrociah Samboko, a contestant for the 2021/2022 edition of Mrs Botswana representing her marital home, Mmandunyane said she learnt a lot from the session especially on the subject of love languages. She went the extra mile to treat her husband, a soldier and fan of cars on a movie date to watch the latest Fast and Furious movie to check if the little things really spice up a relationship. “He was ecstatic at the spontaneous thought and this brought a spark from our daily routine. I look forward to the one on one sessions,” she added.

December will mark Samboko’s 6th year wedding anniversary and between the married life, motherhood and work, the aspiring queen says she has not had time to spoil herself. This contest is her special treat to herself. ” I also joined because i am passionate about giving back to the community and this contest provides the right platform through the themes centered around community development,” she said.
