PRESIDENT / VICE CHANCELLOR
BA ISAGO University seeks to appoint a dynamic and visionary leader who will strategically position the Institution, in the national and regional tertiary education landscape, while retaining and developing its competitive edge locally. The President/Vice Chancellor’s position will be the highest academic and administrative leadership position at BA ISAGO. As a dynamic Institution, BA ISAGO
has transformed itself into a fully-fledged University.
PORTFOLIO RESPONSIBILITIES
The President/Vice Chancellor will be responsible for the University-wide strategic, financial, institutional planning, internationalisation processes, stakeholder and partnership management, governance, consolidation of University policies and procedures, in line with BA ISAGO‘s vision, mission and goals as embedded in its charter. The role of the President/Vice Chancellor will include, among others, a resolute commitment to the University’s developmental agenda, enabling it to grow with quality, into a leading and
reputable private tertiary education institution of choice.
KEY PERSON SPECIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES
The position requires a person with extensive knowledge and experience in higher education, particularly in the private sector. Strong academic and sound leadership qualities, with a proven record at executive/senior
management level. The candidate should have;

* Critical and analytical skills
* A quick, decisive and effective management style
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
* A strong process and result driven orientation
* Computer Literacy
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must possess and demonstrate impeccable and sound academic and professional integrity and
accomplishments, relevant to the private tertiary education landscape.
* A PhD /Doctorate in relevant discipline
* At least 10 years of experience in the higher education
sector
* Must have held a position of Dean / Pro-Vice Chancellor
/ Executive Director/CEO
