The Kgale View Housing Development Project under the Bonno Target 3000 Initiative, whose groundbreaking was officiated by President Duma Boko in April, has stalled, Acting Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC) CEO Pascaline Sefawe has confirmed.
The project, expected to be one of Gaborone’s most catalytic housing developments, hit a snag after negotiations with the intended development partner collapsed.Sefawe explained that although the project was launched, the partnership could not be finalised. “It was very unfortunate that it was launched, but negotiations with the partner we had intended to work with did not go well, so we had to terminate the discussions,” she said.
