Botswana Tourism Organization(BTO) is aparastatal body set up through an Act of Parliament with the mandate to market Botswana’s tourist product, grade and classify tourist accommodation facilities as well as to promote investment in the tourism sector.

EXECUTIVE MANAGER- INVESTMENT & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job is directly responsible for:
- Formulating and implementing strategies, systems and programmes which promote and enhance investment in the tourism industry
- Developing evaluating and operationalising tourism products to drive the Organisation mandate
- Spearheading BTO Investments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Key Performance Areas:
- Assist in the formulation, cascading and implementationoftheOrganisationstrategy to drive the Organisation mandate
- Develop, implement and monitor the Investment and Product Development department’s annual strategy, objectives andperformance
- Develop,implementandmonitorsystems, plansandprogrammestodriveandpromote investmentinthecountry’stourismproduct
- Conductresearchtoidentifypotentialnew productsbymarketability,investmentand geographically
- LiaisewithMarketingandQualityServices departments to infuse marketability and qualitycontrolinthedevelopmentofnew products
- Evaluate existing Organisation’s tourism projectsforoperationalization,investment promotion and increase financial output
- LiaisewithLocalAuthoritiesforidentification andacquisitionoflandwithtourismpotential for development and investment
- Facilitate Trusts to develop potential of Community Based Organisations
- Administration of Satellite Offices, Investment Promotions and Estates Divisions
- Develop,evaluate,implementandmonitor the annual budget for the Investment & Product Development department
- Build, support and manage competent human capital and cross-functional team from the Product Development, Estates, InvestmentFacilitationandSatelliteOffices functions for excellence and continuity

INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER
Theroleisdirectlyresponsiblefor:
- Providing an independent appraisal and risk assessment of the effectiveness of thepolicies,proceduresandstandardsby which the Organisation’s financial, physical, systems and information resources are
- ManagingtheInternalAuditfunctionality, coordinating the specific processes to support the formulation of the Audit Plan and Programme, monitoring compliance andconductinginvestigationstodetermine theextentofvariationornon-conformance to statutory requirements, policies and procedures, preparing and presenting comments and opinions and provide guidanceontheinterpretationofprinciples to enable re-alignment of functions and responsibilities ensuring the activities are conducted and concluded in a credible

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Auditing or related field
- Professional stage of an internationally recognised Institute of Accountants or Auditors (ACCA, CIMA, CIA)
- 5 (Five) years’ experience in auditing medium-to-large-scale operations, 2yearsofwhichshouldhavebeenspentat managementlevel.
MARKET ANALYST
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Executive Manager- Marketing,thepositionisdirectlyresponsible forprovidinginvestors,internalandexternal stakeholderswithtimely,conciseandaccurate information on factors influencing and affecting the tourism trade
JOB REQUIREMENTS
